Sourav De Biswas
Founder | Corporate and Commercial Law
Sourav has practised corporate law since 2005. Before founding DB Legal, he spent more than fourteen years with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, including seven years as a partner in the General Corporate practice. He has also held senior in-house roles with Reliance Communications, Avaya GlobalConnect and OYO Group. His practice covers M&A, business transfers, joint ventures, foreign investment, private equity, commercial contracts, company law and corporate governance.
Sushmita Halder
Sushmita has more than twenty years of corporate-law experience. Her work has included the upstream and downstream oil and gas sector, conventional and renewable power, data protection, project finance, commercial contracts, start-up advisory, employment matters and general corporate transactions.
She graduated from the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences in 2005 and has worked with Khaitan & Co, Trilegal, Reliance Industries and BG Group, now part of Shell. She also holds a master's degree in Oil and Gas Law from the University of Aberdeen.
Keshav Mittal
Keshav works on general corporate advisory and transaction matters. His experience at DB Legal includes legal due diligence and the drafting and review of master services agreements, software development agreements, share purchase agreements, business transfer agreements and other corporate and commercial documents.
He is a graduate of the NMIMS School of Law and, before joining DB Legal, gained experience through engagements with law firms and corporate legal teams, including Khaitan & Co, Desai & Diwanji, Jyoti Sagar Associates and Antares Legal.
Krishnapriya G.
Krishnapriya focuses on corporate and business law, including general corporate advisory, M&A transactions, commercial contracts, private equity and venture capital and joint ventures. Her work includes legal drafting, contract review, negotiation support, research and due diligence.
She is a graduate of Lloyd Law College and has previously worked with BMC Advisors, Maheshwari & Co. and HSA Associates. She has also written and presented on corporate, commercial and technology-related legal topics..
Aanchal Pandey
Aanchal has experience across corporate law, healthcare regulation, intellectual property and commercial contracts. She has worked as in-house counsel with pharmaceutical and healthcare businesses, including Max Healthcare, Poly Medicure and Akums Drugs, and has advised on product and operational issues in regulated sectors.
Her experience includes the Drugs and Cosmetics Act framework, legal metrology, contract drafting and negotiation, manufacturing and supply arrangements, service agreements and related regulatory matters. She has also handled matters before the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court, district courts and the National Green Tribunal.
